what an experience!

ever since the program with Hong Kah primary ended, i didnt really get a chance to work closely with primary school kids till today......

went over to a school to give a short briefing about my organization and mentally prepare them for the volunteering assignments tomorrow. i was thinking "aiya primary school kids sure very easy to handle them one!!" after all they are kids mah. but NO!! i was WRONG!! they are not easy to handle. everyone was very eager to ask questions and give answers! and they really ask "weird" questions that i dont even know how to handle. was overwhelmed by the responses given by the kids. normally when i'm dealing with teenagers who ask silly or weird question, i will just joke and crap with them. but for the kids, it's totally different. i cant joke with them as they are too young to understand what im talking about. faint. with all those innocent faces looking at you and eagerly waiting for their turn to ask questions!! OMG!!!

for example there was one incident when i was actually sharing with them a story that happen to some client about being locked up in the toilet. then those kids started bombarding me with all sorts of questions like

what if there is only one toilet and somebody want to use the toilet HOW?
why must lock in the toilet cannot hide under the bed?
blah blah blah...

wah seriously at that point of time i feel like laughing out loud! but i cant!!! their imagination = POWER!! hahaha.

i actually had a hard time trying to deliver my message across to them and at the same time hoping that they will not come up with any other CHALLENGING questions for me!! this briefing used up alot of my brain cells!!!

but got to admit they are really cute when you look at all their "eager to learn" faces! hahah. i seriously need to learn how to handle kids and how to answer their weird questions. aahha

p.s- i finally realized how irritating i am when i was still a little girl. always asking all sort of funny and stupid questions.. what if? WHY? how come??
