I can never be tidy.

The state of my room now. Books, bags, makeup, nonsense stuffs EVERYWHERE!

I hope some angels will pack it for me and it will all be neat and tidy when I wake up tomorrow!! But on second thoughts better not. Don't want to freak myself out in the middle of the night...

going home

something that i tweeted few weeks back..

a reminder to us again not to take things and people for granted. Always make an effort to care for the people who love you dearly before it's too late.

Brought my resident home earlier to visit her grandma because grandma told me she didn't see her for a long time. And you should see the smile on my resident and grandma's faces when they sees each other. My resident was smiling throughout the journey there when she knows she is going home to visit grandma.

Going home, something that we get to do everyday but not them.

When it's time to leave, my resident refuses to leave the sofa. She thought she is staying for the night. And I don't see her smile anymore. During the visit, grandma was telling me that her grandson did not visit her anymore. He complained that he is busy with work and all. And grandma added on that, but there is public holiday and weekends? I'm sure if he wants he can make some time for me right?

What she said struck a chord in me. We often take things for granted thinking that they will always be there. It's okay if we don't visit now. And we drag and drag till they are gone and we started to regret not spending more time with them. I'm guilty of that too.

I promise I will try to be less lazy and make an effort to catch up more often.

vivian's wedding at a glance

was her bridesmaid for that day as i'm her only single and available buddy in singapore. hahaa!

i stayed over with her at four season the night before her wedding. the bed is OH SO COMFY!! and it was so good that we almost overslept. woke up rush through everything and even inform the groom to come a little bit later. but lucky we manage to finish all preparation on time. HAHAHA.

the traditional 酸甜苦辣 stuffs that i prepared. that's the best i can come out with since i'm doing it alone. lol

her cousin grace from Philippine helped out on that day as one of her 'bodyguard'! hehe so basically it was just the two of us against the whole group. but thank god some of her male cousins help out. if not i confirm CUI.

the brothers!one of the game, to use a chopstick to pick up the red beans to form a message for vivian! but they ended up using their HANDS instead. kns

the usual 'love contract' and everyone was telling him to write things like "i will give you ALL my salary every month" and he replied "i already given her all my money what!" WAAAAAh HAHAHA.

but it's seriously quite sweeet to have a guy pinning down his promises/ commitment to you provided he dont break and follow it lah.

we gate crash in the hotel itself, there is a part when he SNEAK in to the room and i didnt even notice. was still out there trying to bargain with the rest of the brothers. wtf! panic! heng vivian was smart enough to hide in the toilet first! so in the end he still didnt get to meet his bride! hoho

had a great time catching up with my favourite ex colleagues!

most of the time we only get to gather during people's wedding and they starting asking whose the next one to go. and everyone started looking at me. OH CRAP. they started asking me so how when is your wedding, blah blah blah..

WAIT! I NEED TO FIND A BOYFRIEND FIRST! I NEED TO FIND SOMEONE WHO IS WILLING TO LOVEEEEEE AND STAY WITH ME. I NEED TO FIND SOMEONE WHO IS ABLE TO ACCEPT ALL MY NONSENSE.

and i need that someone to appear in my life...

trying hard to meet one of the goal i set for myself early this year

"Balance work, play, self life- the past 1 year was spent either in office, home or monkeying around with friends/ buddies. Should open up my world to more activities. Must stop the habit of complaining that I'm tired and put off doing things. I should seriously consider signing up for a course, learn a skill (guitar maybe? Saying bout it for a year and again no actions taken!! Bad bad bad!) or even volunteer at the hospice (again something that I have been thinking about for quite awhile, time to send the application.) maybe my driving license? Mum been harping me about this."

and so i signed up as a volunteer at the family service centre near my house but didnt manage to sign up for any course! haha. lazzzzzzzy. anyway joined them for their mentorship program, working with the kids. most wednesday night was spent with them helping them with their studies, playing games with them. it was quite fun working with a different group of people. :)

glad i manage to meet one of my goals for 2011. not that bad, at least i did something! HOHO! it's november now, 2011 is ending soon. i cant wait to welcome 2012 because 2011 is full of heartache and unhappy news at least for me.

and i should start planning for 2012, turning 25 soon. OLD OLD OLD! can't procrastinate anymore.
