last night i suddenly woke up at 12 plus to find SOMETHING on my table.. i find and find CANNOT FIND! search here search there like DISAPPEAR! i remember that 'SOMETHING' is there!! but its NOT THERE! then i gave up.. damn tu lan go pee. then go back sleep...

*this morning i woke up thinking wtf am i exactly searching for in the middle of the night?? what is that SOMETHING???*

back to work...

after 4 days of relaxing and enjoying.. and now im back to work.. so fast new year going to be over sooon. aiyoo.. :(

anyway as usual .. first day of new year was spent at grandma's place..

SHIOK SHIOK! lol.. anyway this year ANG BAO LESSER!! so sad!! past 2 years i got like 400 plus but now alot lesser lo..

ended the night with a movie with the cousins' gang. our tradition since dont know when a must to catch a movie every CNY!! haha.. and went over to bumblebee's house after that for a round of royal casino and fatal frame! muahahaha! initially i won a bit.. but in the end i "gave" my money to CHRISTINA!! wa liew.. in the end she is the big winner can cheat all our money!! hahaha.. and i fall asleep after that while kengyong is busy playing fatal frame.. i tried to keep myself awake but i GAVE UP IN THE END!! super shag leh!!! kept dozing off... haha sorry lah. :)

2nd day of new year was spent catching up on my beauty sleep and movie at night. yes movie again... hahhaa. some random relatives and cousins came over to bai nian and im still in my PJ! MUAHAHA.

new year kinda boring this year leh!! AHHHH! WHAT'S HAPPENING ISIT BECAUSE IM GETTING OLDER THATS WHY NOT MUCH NEW YEAR MOOOOOD? hmm....

BHID was invited by KCPSS to join in their new year celebration so boss bought me along with him. hmm.. when is the last time i participate in a school celebration.. 4 years ago?? hoho.. anyway it's definitely a very interesting experiences for me!! i still remember ... those days when i was young.. i used to be the one sitting on the floor watching the performance. but now im joining the teachers and principal to sit on CHAIRS!! hahaha. and treated like some VIP! hahaha. song..

see those young kids on the floor suffer!! MUHAHAHA.

anyway those kids.. can really SCREAM!! IRRITATING!! screaming non stop the moment we walked into the hall and throughout the concert.. DEAF LIAO LAH!! aiyooo..

at the end of the concert, we were invited up to the stage to receive a hamper from the students.. STAGE FRIGHT!!! thousand of eyes staring at you!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!

Scaling Walls - My Story

went to dine at sakae sushi yesterday and they are selling this book "Scaling Walls - My Story" by Oh Siew May a lady diagnose with cerebal palsy.. out of curiousity i took up the book and read a few pages.. and ended up buying it... for a good cause of course... because a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the Spastic Children's Association of Singapore. and after working in this industry... im became more aware of the difficulties faced by the disabled.

this book record Siew May's journey of going through the different obstacles she face in life.. how she overcome all challenges thrown to her and fight fight fight !! how she fulfill her dreams... and i totally agree with her.... Without dreams, life is meaningless.

and to inspire you further... sharing with you another part from her..

"our life is like a mountain. some days can be tougher, some days can be easier. all we need to do is keep moving no matter what happens, and one day, we will make it to our destination. one must have a dream to keep going."

funny boss

boss gave me TEN donation cards and ask me to 'settle' it.. so what i did was to distribute the card to the rest of my colleagues... and of course i gave one to boss as well.. after all he is the one who started this.. hmm...

me: boss, please sign and indicate that you taken one card.
boss: im going to end up making a police report over this donation card.
another colleague: i agree with boss.
me: believe in yourself. im sure you wont lost it! come on take one.. MUAHAHAHAHAHAH

woohoo.. i bought a DKNY watch last year and within a year i bought it to the service centre THREE TIMES!! imagine my DU LAN-NESS.. recently i bought it to the service centre again and guess what? they called me informing me that they going to replace a BRAND NEW WATCH FOR ME!! MUAHAHHAA AND I CAN GET TO CHOOSE ANOTHER DESIGN! shiok right

busy like a bumble beeee

work is crazy.. i can see that things are piling up but im still slacking.. hahaha.

and i seriously cant wait for new year to come!! WOOOHOOOOO!!!

Project RICE was crazy.. initially we are expecting only 1800kg of rice but ended up with 4000 over! omg.. the whole room is filled with tons of rice rice! alot of RICE!!! ok. close your eyes and imagine a big CONFERENCE room filled with rice.. haha what a sight right. but anyway luckily we manage to re-distribute out the rice to the other needy organisation and it's slowly getting lesser!! woohoo.. like what boss said.. "finally i can sleep in peace tonight!" muahahaha.. hmm.. the feeling to share is really really good.. knowing that this little gesture of yours can actually tide them over for a period of time and especially when the economy is in a really bad situation now.. and when you received their call to thank you and really appreciate you.. oh man... :) one organisation was down to their LAST packet of rice. they live in faith.. and we called.. imagine..

last week was crazy.. work on saturday and sunday as well! so NO OFF FOR ME!! ahh!! spent my sunday with the residents for a Tree Top walk at MacRitchie.. it was my first time there. initially was worried that i cant take it after all been ages since i last exercise leh!! haha. but glad i made it in the end with the residents as well. and im still full of energy after that! muahahaha must action abit. the scenary up there was BEAUTIFUL..

the sign read "one - way only, please do not turn back" i guess this applies to our daily life as well? once we make any decisions we should never REGRET and look back and think what if i blah blah blah... !!

although the road in front is long and shaky.. dont be discouraged. bring your best foot forward and fight whatever challenges thrown to you bravely... be a warrior and fight fight fight! :)

finally it's over

my nightmare...... 70 NSF coming over to BH to volunteer.. im damn worried about presenting in front of them.. STAGE FRIGHT LAH!!! faint.. in the beginning im really nervous... was talking nonsense and a bit fast.. at the further part i tried to calm myself down.. made some jokes and urge them to give me their responses.. and luckily they made some noise lah! hahaa. after a while i feel more comfortable... yay.. but still i really freak out when i need to talk in front of more than 50 audiences!! imagine so many pair of eyes looking at you... zzz but glad everything is over now! woohoo.. :)

we humans are always working and working and still working non stop until the day we die... and we ended up neglecting the people around us and the many other beautiful things in life that we miss out. our families and friends... sad to say.. sometimes we only meet up during FUNERALS? last year one of my primary school friend died while serving the nation. when was the last time we meet up? 5 years ago? or even longer?? hmm.. it is really sad when you finally get to meet and it's on your friend's funeral. sigh.. we are always so busy that sometimes we dont even know why are we doing all this for? when is the last time you actually take a break from all your work, do some reflections and really re-look into your life? when is the last time you actually take time off to do volunteer your service to the less fortunate? what exactly is life all about? why are we fighting so hard? at the end of the way what do we get?? who knows you might die the next moment without enjoying your life at all..

i learnt that we should learn to trust that little voice within us... telling us that it is time to take a break from everything.. a little time for ourselves.. that voice within us will never lie to us...

hahaa guess what?? i think im crazy! went to attend gan's wedding yesterday at KL. super last minute for me can. i only know about it at 3:00 am on sunday morning and agreed to go immediately!! was super excited about the whole trip and ended didnt sleep at all lor! hahaha siao on. some of them were really surprise to see me? hahaha they think that im crazy? and partly also because of the super long journey.. imagine set off at 8.30 am and reach singapore at 3:30 am.. and i need to work the next day as well.. hmm.. so i told them "because i got nothing better to do" when they asked me why i am i here!

it was super duper fun! with the bunch of crazzy colleagues. oh man i miss them so much since i left faplccc few months ago. it was great catching up and crapping with them.. ;-)

thank you mokie for sending me to KL and adi for sending me back to home sweet home.. i want to be like adi! enjoying his life.. his freedom doing what he want without any regrets! travel here and there.. when can i achieve that man.. sigh.. he just came back from his road trip to thailand. he drove there alone and of course with the help of his trusted GPS! haha.. he really knows how to enjoy life lah! i love travelling at night! damn cool lah.! ok.. the top of adi's car can be open (sounds weird?) so he open it and tadah!!! ALOT OF TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STARS!!! super duper nice leh! and damn LOMANTIC lah! hahahaa. somemore u know malaysia highway no lights one.. so the twinkle twinkle little stars filled the sky lo!! NICE NICE NICE! if only.... at least he is... hahhahaha. oh well..

as a way of remembering 2008 and also to welcome 2009.. i got myself a GIFT! muahaha. (actually an excuse for me to get a new watch! oops :X. because i aim this for damn long already can!) mwah!!

looking back...

... on all the things i've done in 2008... it was indeed an exciting journey for me, with "ups" and "downs", rare opportunities given to me, meeting new people, learning and re-learning all those endless theories!! arhh!

i look forward to 2008 because i knew 2008 was going to be an exciting journey. i turned 21! celebrated my birthday with my loves one. received all the blessing and gifts from those who love me. thank you :) got myself DEAD DRUNK and made a fool out of myself but still im enjoying it. after all it was how it started... hmm...

although in the first part of 2008 i hit a pretty bad patch in my career.. it was so bad that i almost resigned. but thank god i managed to walk pass it with the help and support from my boss, colleagues and friends. thank you for talking some sense into me and believing in me. i love you!! hehe. its all over now.. i've moved on... through these experiences i became stronger.. see and think alot.. better understanding about HUMANS! sigh.. humans are really COMPLICATED CREATURE!!

finally completed my diploma course and now pursuing my degree. one more year to go.. ADD OIL!

finally left FAPLCCC.net after working there for more than 1 year... sigh. im missing all those wonderful people that i met there. over the years i got closer to them, and when it was time to leave i really BU SHE DE LEH!! glad that im still in contact with some of the wonderful people there... vivian steph germ jas gan shane oliver.. etc.. :) happy new year to all of you wonderful people. i miss you!!

and one step closer to fulfilling my dream.. got myself a new job as a social work support officer. something that i am always dreaming of.. and of course looking forward to. it was indeed challenging as this is something different from my pass experiences. but im seriously enjoying every moment every second of it. the joy and satisfaction you get is amazing.. looking deeper into life.. thinking alot more than usual because im seeing and experiencing more.. sigh..

.... lost a friend but trying my best to save it again. :)

new year resolutions? should i or should i not make them? hmm...

i believe that 2009 is going to be another year of good and exciting journey for me..
