i attended a workshop and am given the task to choose four cards that best represent how i feel at work.
after looking through all the cards, these are the four i picked.
1st card: my job often require me to speak and present in front of a big group. sharing information with various people, etc.
2nd card: i always have to talk to people, smile and make them feel comfortable. sometimes even though i'm having a really bad day am still not able to show it out right. thus often i do feel like i'm wearing a mask.
3rd card: sometimes i do feel like a sales person, trying to "sale" the Cause that i'm fighting for and believed in.
the last card: and i know the special needs community will always have a place in my heart.

random late night rambling
life lesson one
a big part of my job is spent interacting with the family of my residents and i must admit i learn a great deal from them. they taught me lots of valuable life lesson and one thing i admire most is their selfless love shown for my residents. despite the circumstances they are in, they never once gave up on caring for the people they love. utmost respect for them.
and because of that, i am more aware of what i am looking for or rather i want for my future life partner. someone who will take care of both our families (his and mine) and we will do it together.
life lesson two
recently i had a new female resident joining our home and she is a very sweet lady. always greeting people cheerfully whenever she sees you and always telling the other party "you are very good". and trust me she did brighten up my day every single time i meet up with her. her cheerfulness, encouraging comments, concern shown and friendliness to everyone she meet is something very remarkable.
she taught me to be generous with my praises and never stop bringing joy to others. definitely something for us to learn from her... to spread positive words to everyone we encounter.
